Epigenetics vs. DNA
Epigenetics is the study of how behaviors and the environment can affect gene expression without changing the DNA sequence.
DNA is the instruction manual for cells, and genes provide specific instructions for making proteins.
Epigenetics tells cells to read specific parts of the instruction manual at different times.
These changes can be reversible, stable, and passed on to future generations.

Epigenetics is the study of how your behaviors and environment can cause changes that affect the way your genes work. Unlike genetic changes, epigenetic changes are reversible and do not change your DNA sequence, but they can change how your body reads a DNA sequence.

Yes you can! The hair dye doesn't affect the hair follicle.
Yes totally! It actually is helpful so you know how your body is acting differently with the pregnancy or post partum changes. You can know what foods, supplements, etc you should be specifically taking for you.
Your blood work is defined by the circulatory system which doesn't hold much memory as it is always changing, where a Hair Analysis can hold 90 days of memory and can test all systems in your body. So you get more results and it is a lot less painful especially if you hate needles.
Typically you want to get tested every 90 days as your hair follicles hold that amount of memory so it changes about that time. You can really do them every three months for as long as you feel you need to or your body is at a clear and stable state shown through the results.
Blood is circulatory, and you only see up to 72 hours of data. HMTA is only testing minerals/metals.
No, not actual hormone levels. It shows the hormone system and precursors to why your hormones are off.
Someone with diagnosed cancer doesn't look any different than anyone else on a hair analysis...because cancer at its core is toxins and deficiencies.
We don't test for the gene, but we can see if B9 is low, which will affect the result of turning on that dirty gene.
Unfortunately we are not able to send mail in hair kits outside of the U.S.A. We do have a lot of people interested from Canada, so unless you are able to cross the border and pick it up and ship it that way, we can't ship it to Canada. We so wish we could!
If you live in New York, unfortunately we are not able to ship hair analysis kits there. New York has stipulations around certain health tests.
Luckily we are able to work around it. We can either ship the kit to an address in a neighboring state that you can pick up and send back, or we can send it to a UPS store also in a neighboring state. Need help? Contact us!
